Information
Breaks all the way along and at all tides.

Most popular breaks are opposite the old lifeguard station, a couple of nice sand bars, with lefts and rights.Mainly a spilling wave, but does face up quite nicely. Works on Northerly, Easterly and Southerly swells, and any wind with a west in it's name.

Lifeguards are in opperation in the summer holidays, at the moment but plan to extend that time.

The beach is in a little seaside resort called Seaton Carew, with your normal chip shops, bars, and arcades. A promenade connects the Marina with one of the Seaton Carew which was one of the Victorian's favourite North-East resorts.

Parking is available all along the road.

Wind Directions

I'm not sure who submitted this as they did it anonymously, but could someone confirm the wind direction suitabilities. I've never been to Seaton Carew but those wind directions look wrong to me as I'm sure it isn't excellent for kitesurfing when its dead offshore.

SEATON

Directions posted are wrong!!!!!

Cross shore at seaton is either North from the left or South from the right, anything with a west gets really gusty and not suitable particularly for kitesurfing.

The more easterly the more onshore and gets quite choppy.

Best direction is a N.

Cheers Dangerous...

I knew they had to be wrong, not sure why whoever submitted the description wrote that, I have a feeling they knew very little about windsurfing or kitesurfing and assumed that good conditions for those sports would be the same as when conditions are good for surfing.
